Distortion shootout - Behringer TD-3 vs Boss DS-1 (with video)

The DS-1 is an early 2000s model that I repaired. It doesn’t have the original op-amp because it had blown - here is a link to the full repair journey!

Unfortunately the clean sound is a bit stronger than either distorted sound; I should have pushed the levels slightly on the distortion effects.

To my ears, both sound good, but in slightly different ways.
