Gary and the Gutners

We met at Woodville Baptist church, most of us played in the worship team there, and there was a need for function bands for weddings and parties, so we did it!

Lineup:

1. Alan Gale - lead guitar/vocals
2. Tom Hills - guitar/vocals
3. Me - bass
4. Dan Ruffe - drums
5. Sam Shiells - Keyboard/vocals (I played with Sam in subsequent function bands)

And, of course, a subsequent iteration of the Gutners (renamed as something I don’t recall - Function 74 or something?) played at my own wedding :-)
