I wanted to have all the music on this site playable in a player - for me, really, I don’t even know if anyone else ever visits the site, I don’t even keep access logs!

I wanted it to support playlists. There were off-the-shelf players out there but it seemed that they all needed so much customisation that it became easier to simply write my own, given I wanted a large filterable playlist of the 465 songs on this site.

I adapted some code from hecpolanco/Simple-Music-Player.
