I bought this Atari 2600 Jr as spares+repairs. It didn’t power up, and when I persuaded it to power up, I found a number of other problems whilst jabbing at it with my tools…

In this video, I attempt a total refurbish of this 40 year old console. This included cleaning the plastic, “fixing” the switches, replacing the capacitors and the voltage regulator, replacing a broken internal potentiometer, sorting out the RF modulator, cleaning the cartridge slot and PCB, and a few more little bits and pieces.
